For many, mixed martial arts is the sweet spot between professional athletics and extreme entertainment — and the fans are hardcore. High profile, national sports organizations like the UFC are beloved MMA brands with deep pockets. New England Fights started in 2012, with a lot of passion and dedication, but limited resources. How does a regional fight promoter build excitement for their events without the marketing budget of the UFC?

It was time to showcase our regional MMA athletes as the larger-than-life figures they are.

A new theme and look for each event.


We set out to create premier event creative and to leverage social media to build a larger fan base and increase event attendance. Using all local resources, we established a system of photographing fighters and developing dramatic, themed visual images that build excitement at, and leading up to, each event. New England Fight's steady growth has meant more attendees, better fights, and increased sponsorship support.

The judges decision...


Dana White, President of the UFC, chose NEF to be part of his US tour for talent — Dana White, Looking for a Fight.

New England Fights videos have had 4 million views on YouTube.

Dozens of fighters have gone pro as part of NEF.
